  • Nope!

    Sam + Sarah want to make this accessible and for you to come and enjoy the activities, shop from the incredible local vendors, eat the delicious foods, and experience the beautiful art!

  • Unfortunately pets are not allowed inside Magnuson Park Hangar 30 unless they are a registered service animal.

    This is a policy set by Seattle Parks and we are required to enforce it. Please don’t make us turn you and your cute puppers away!

  • Most vendors take cash, all will likely take cards, and some also have the ability to take apple pay / phone tap.

    Be aware, if you’re planning on paying with cash, many vendors do not have change for large bills.

  • We have a number of food and beverage vendors that will be on site! Scroll down to the “Food + Bev” section of the vendor list here.

  • Yes!

    Hangar 30 has multiple restrooms including a family / all gender restroom.

  • Yes!

    Hangar 30 is fully accessible. There are also reserved parking spots right by the entrance in the South Parking lot.

Getting There:

Please consider carpooling or taking public transit to get to Magnuson Park Hangar 30 for Handmadeland.

 

Parking

While it often seems like there’s plenty of parking at Magnuson Park, it can often become congested for large events and we recommend carpooling, taking public transit, walking, riding, etc.

There are multiple parking lots available as well!

FAQs:

How long is the volunteer shift?

  • They are scheduled in 4 hour blocks

  • however, if you want to volunteer but don’t have 4 hours, that’s ok! Just let us know in the comment box on the form.

What kind of tasks will I be asked to do?

  • Tasks could vary from helping vendors load in and out of the space, doing light traffic control outside, working the coat check or information booth, providing breaks to vendors at their booth, helping transition activity tables from one craft to the next, and a bunch more

  • on the form, you can select the types of tasks you’re up for doing

If I’m a student who needs volunteer hours, can you sign off on it?

  • Absolutely! we’d love to have you involved and are happy to sign off on any relevant paperwork showing you volunteered, for what, how long, etc.
